When it comes to your wedding day, I want it to be picture perfect. That is why I use only all-digital Sony cameras which provide unmatched picture clarity and color quality to capture your day. My 33 years of professional experience offers you both the skills an artistic style that will capture every key moment throughout your day. Your wedding video will be edited using the newest non-linear all-digital editing equipment where it is crafted along with the music and photos of your choice to create a truly custom keepsake memory for you to enjoy for generations to come. Choosing the right videographer - Questions and Answers |

Q: Shouldn't I use the video service provided by my photographer?A: Many photographers include video coverage in their "package". Make no assumptions about one type of service based on the quality of another. It is risky to settle with any wedding service based on convenience or a "package" price. Often photography studios will hire weekend freelancers to cover their overflow work. It is extremely important that your wedding contract identifies the person who will be videotaping your wedding day and that any demo video shown to you comes from directly from that videographer and is not a montage of the "best of the best" of the photography studio. |

Q: Won't Uncle Joe's camcorder be good enough?A: Weddings are certainly expensive and it is reasonable to want to cut costs where possible, however documenting your wedding day to be enjoyed for future generations should not be left to good-intentioned relatives. With the digital revolution that is available today, recording your day in an all-digital-video-format will insure that your wedding quality will remain even as technology continues to improve since your final edited tape is still available in a perfect digital format. Q: Isn't one videographer the same as another?A: Quality video is an art. Even with identical equipment, the final video can appear radically different depending on the technical and artistic skills of the videographer and editor. With 29 years experience and having recorded and edited over 1000 video programs, your wedding day will be artistically crafted for a truly memorable keepsake of your wedding day. (Shopping price alone tells you very little about the final quality.) |

Q: Are you inconspicuous during the wedding day? What about bright lights?A: Couples often remark that they did not even notice that I was there and are happily surprised by the extensive coverage of their wedding day. I am especially sensitive to the religious dignity of your wedding ceremony and will do everything to be unobtrusive. Lighting is not a problem since new video camera technologies require much less light to capture the same quality of cameras just 10 years ago. If the reception hall is dark, I may use a tiny camera light simply to enhance the picture color. You will never be subjected to bright annoying lights. |

Q: Do you videotape other activities that are not held in the church or reception hall?A: There are a number of options that you may choose to customize your final wedding video including: Youth photo montage, the park photo session after the ceremony, arrival of guests and limos, video recap of the day's highlights, and honeymoon pictures, if desired. Every wedding video is customized to meet the bride and grooms requirements. (I do not record guest interviews at the reception unless you request it.) |

Q: Will my wedding video be available in DVD?A: Yes! The good news is that your wedding day is captured and edited using all-digital technology so that its clarity can be digitally transferred to DVD. New Jersey Video uses the latest DVD technology that provides you better than two times the picture quality of VHS. |

Q: Are additional copies available? How about PAL formats for relatives in Europe?A: Since your wedding is processed entirely in Digital format, each copy you receive is identical in its high quality appearance. (There is no generation loss in quality from copy to copy.) Upon request, we can convert your video into any video format in the world. |
